For bars, cantinas and cocktail bars

Every drink poured is a drink charged.

In a bar the most expensive thing sits in an open bottle, and part of it may never reach a tab: generous pours, comps nobody wrote down, spills, recipes no longer followed.

Sound familiar?

  • The bottle ran out and the tab does not say so
  • Counting the bar takes me hours and comes out late
  • Midweek the bar is empty and standing still
  • Nobody writes down the comps

Bar & Pub

Where the money leaks

Counting the bar takes hours every week, and between counts the margin slips away without anyone knowing where.

  1. Generous pours and rounds nobody charged

An extra measure or an uncharged round looks small until it adds up over the month. The Shadows compare each bottle's consumption against what recipes and tickets should have consumed.

  2. Variance between bottles and sales

The spirits that left the bar do not match what was charged. The Shadows list the gap by product and shift, as a signal to review and not an accusation.

  3. Dead hours with no promotion

Midweek and mid-afternoon the room is empty and the bar idle. The Shadows read sales by hour and show where there is capacity going unused.

  4. Counts that eat hours

Counting by hand takes hours every week and gets done late or halfway. The Shadows show how much time goes into counting and how often the numbers differ.

Ask Adren

Your numbers, in your words

Type the question the way you'd ask your manager. Adren answers with what it saw in your operation and what it proposes; the decision is yours.

YouWhich shift had the biggest gap between what poured and what sold?

Adren

I prepared the list of differences by shift and by bar with their records. The manager should investigate the cause before adjusting anything.

How it works

Live in weeks, not quarters

The Shadows read your POS, purchases and counts in read-only mode, the Company Brief quantifies variance by product and shift, agents prepare cases and promotions, and the manager approves before anything is adjusted or sent.

  1. Shadows

Read your operation, read-only. They change nothing.

  2. Company Brief

The map of your business and where the money goes.

  3. Agents

Act with your approval. You decide what turns on.

  4. Monthly Care

We measure, adjust and look after it every month.

With what you already use

No new system. Adren reads what you already have.

    • Bar POS
    • Count sheet in Excel

    Shadows, read-only

    • The bar's recipe book
    • WhatsApp with the distributor

Read the way you keep it today.

    • Card terminal
    • Comps notebook

    You approve every action.

Contactless

One tap and done

Your regulars and your ticketed nights, in the wallet.

NFC passes in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, on iOS and Android. No app to install. We set it up for your business.

Powered by Alara Technologies

  1. On the house

Visits add stamps and you decide the reward.

  2. Ticketed nights

Gigs and match nights with tickets checked at the door.

  3. Happy hour with a tap

The coupon lands on their phone and is redeemed at the bar.

Made to measure

Made to measure for your business

Before adding a camera we reconcile recipes, measures and tickets, because a badly defined recipe creates false alarms. A cantina with one bar and one shift does not get the same as a bar with three locations and contracts with distributors.

  1. 01First, the Shadows observe your real operation, read-only.
  2. 02From that we build your Company Brief: your prices, your processes, your current systems and who approves.
  3. 03The agents are designed on that brief, not on an industry template.

Packages

The three packages

All three are made to measure. They differ by size and complexity, not by a fixed list of features.

  • 1 business

    Made to measure

    Adren All

One business · your ERP and systems included

For a single bar we usually switch on variance by shift and counting by voice or camera, on top of the POS and recipes you already have.

  • Several locations

    Made to measure

    Adren Supercharged

Several locations or more complex processes

For several bars we add distributor purchasing, shifts by footfall and the multi-bar view.

  • The whole operation

    Made to measureFlagship

    Adren Enterprise

    The complete operating system

For a group: comparison across locations and distributor contracts, with agents trained on your processes.

What we measure

We measure liquor variance in pesos each week: the gap between what was physically consumed and what was documented, at cost.

Measured from your own baseline. It is not a promised result.

Questions

Does a gap in the count mean someone is stealing?

No. It is a signal to review: it can come from a badly measured recipe, an unrecorded comp or a spill. The system leaves the cause to your judgment and never assigns a shortfall to a person by itself.

Who approves the quiet-hour promotions?

You do. The agent proposes the offer, the time and who gets it; nothing goes to your customers without your approval and without respecting their contact permissions.

What happens to my POS and my count sheet?

They stay. We read the POS and your inventory spreadsheet as they are. What goes away is the work of crossing them by hand at the end of the week.
